What we set on hivetree.com
- Theme preference (browser local storage). We remember whether you've picked light or dark mode so it sticks between visits. Lasts until you clear your browser data.
- Session cookies when you sign in to the tenant portal or admin panel. These are first-party and only set if you actually log in.
What we don't set
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No analytics by default. If we enable privacy-respecting analytics later (e.g. Vercel Analytics or Plausible) we'll update this page and they will not use cookies that identify individuals.
Embedded content
Some pages include media or maps from third parties (e.g. embedded videos, Google Maps for directions). When you load those, the third party may set its own cookies. We don't control those — see the relevant provider's policy for detail.
Your choices
You can clear local storage and cookies for hivetree.com at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will reset your theme preference and sign you out of the portal/admin if you were signed in.
